ABOUT

It’s an open and shut case for the Franschhoek Police Department when Theadora Louw, known to all as “Tannie Dora”, confesses to the murder of Willem Johannes. But for Police Inspector Jaco Vermeulen, a former foster child of Tannie Dora, something doesn’t quite fit.

As Vermeulen commences with the interrogation and the events leading up to the death of Willem unfold through the eyes of the elderly, self-confessed murderer, Vermeulen soon discovers that his instincts may have been correct, and nothing is as it seems.

From first time playwright, Warren Meyer, and acclaimed director, Jeremeo Le Cordeur (Dress to Impress; Pizza's Here; Risk; February 14th), Tannie Dora Goes Bos is a hilarious, dark murder mystery offering the perfect combination of comedy, drama and suspense, to keep you hooked - and guessing - till the very end. PG 13 LV

“Tannie Dora Goes Bos is a high-octane show that had its audience in stitches” - Steyn Du Toit, Cape Times

“Lots of laughter and gasping amidst twists and turns that keep the audience guessing until the very end ” - Stef & Barbs, #SceneIt

“... it is plain entertainment with a twist upon a twist that you don’t see coming.” - Theresa Smith, Cape Argus Tonight

“It is, for the most part an energetic whirl ala Quentin Tarantino, fast paced and energetic.” - Clifford Graham, Monday Missile
